However, in our
system, instead of entering the destination number, the user can press
the desired button for longer than the usual duration for the pre-assigned
special feature. For example, if you have a number saved on speed-dial/short
dial, you would push the function button for that saved number for
one second to dial that number. If the user's terminal equipment can't
produce a long tone - as with some cellular phones - the user pushing
the desired button followed by the '#' key can be a secondary method.

the user can save the dialed number by pressing the desired unction
button (from 1 to 5) for a long period of time. A new call can be
